Eyelashes 101
A simple lash tutorial for everyday
You guys ask for this all the time. During Covid, I had to learn how to do eyelashes and now I can do them myself. Honestly, it's changed my life. These fan clusters are foolproof, literally four per eye and you're done. No more wasting money on makeup artists or dealing with those heavy, fake-looking lashes. You guys know I love keeping things simple and natural, and these are the only ones I use. I'm linking everything you need to get started because I want you to feel instantly put together for a night out without professional makeup. Trust me, it's way easier than you think.
MY TIPS:
Stop wasting money on lash extensions and makeup artists.
Less lashes look better. Heavy lashes age you.
Singles and thick strips look fake. I don’t use them.
Fan clusters are the easiest and most natural option.
Always start on the outer corner and work your way in.
Let the glue dry for a second before you apply.
White glue only. You need to see what you’re doing.
Use a magnifying mirror.
If it looks messy at first, relax. It settles when it dries.
Finish with a little mascara to blend.
Keep eyeliner light. Heavy liner ruins it.
Take your lashes off every night and clean your lash line.
PROCESS:
Finish base makeup. Apply mascara and lightly clean the lash line.
Separate natural lashes well using a spoolie.
Apply lash glue to the lid and let it dry slightly.
Using tweezers, remove fan clusters from the strip by gripping the center.
Dip only the base of the cluster into glue.
Start at the outer corner of the eye and place the longest cluster first.
Tap down gently to align with the lash line.
Continue inward using medium, then shorter clusters.
Adjust as needed. If placement is off, remove and reapply.
Let glue fully dry.
Finish with light mascara to blend and a thin eyeliner to connect the lash line.
Remove at night with eye makeup remover and cleanse thoroughly.
